What is reality? Merely conditioning based on beliefs – or something more?

The real reality is within. What you see is an illusion and only reflects what your brain is capable of showing you via its own mechanisms. Technically and physiologically speaking, you’re unable to see the truth: that you live in an illusion that can equally imprison or free you.

Stop Reality.

“A human being is a part of a whole – called by us ‘universe’ – a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest… a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” – Einstein

Are we real? Are we even capable of seeing what is real??

All we can do is be open to what is true, and grip on to what we can feel with our senses. The era of gurus is over. Consciousness is shifting on the planet and we are evolving to a higher level. In fact, we have no choice but to evolve or to die out. Such is the nature of life.

Our “awakening” coincides with a massive technological shift.  Finally we will have robots and computers to do all the work humans used to do. We no longer require a go-between, as availability of information and resources is widespread. Life is immediate, especially media and entertainment. Everything is being presented to us on the film-screen of our minds. Immediately. Often even larger than life. The question of “what is real” is becoming more central as entertainment has taken over many lives.

The key at this point is not knowledge, but wisdom; not attitudes, but beliefs, a return to an appreciation of the simple things in life.

“Nature’s way is simple and easy but men prefer what is intricate and artificial.” – Lao Tzu

Is there such a thing as a true reality – perhaps the whole world is a dream or a dance of consciousness dreaming itself alive?

get realLoving what appears before us (reality as we see it) is a process and sometimes can be very challenging, it’s not always blissful, or at least not immediately so. It is through cultivating a compassionate and accepting heart, that we develop these feelings and qualities within our souls. Then we end up discovering that it was there all along, and really we were just coming home to ourselves.

It’s not data that’s killing us; it’s our inability to sort that data into bite-size chunks of information that is placing the greatest challenge to our systems. We are literally being inundated by stimuli. This fun and exciting period in our development has also placed enormous stress on our bodies, whose capacity for handling stress has a threshold that we keep crossing, as we push ourselves further and higher, closer to the abyss.

We are pushing ourselves artificially to achieve more and to spend more time at work; which is creating a profound imbalance in our health and well-being. It makes no sense – surely we should have more time than ever before?

Why is no Government addressing these issues, and speaking about it frankly? It’s like a collective cloud of ignorance that enshrouds the official messages. Whilst evolving the system, and updating policies that were developed hundreds of years ago is the only sane way to operate, it’s like the status quo would rather freeze itself than face change.

Is change so scary?

Since we have created the technological means essentially to run a society for human being that requires minimum human work input, what is the agenda of those who want to keep people blinded?

This is a time when we are gaining the ability to listen to our higher selves, gain clarity about our lives through turning inwards. All the answers can be found within. This is no secret.

There is no reason to seek out answers via gurus, doctors, monks, imams, psychologists, priests/ nuns, rabbis, holy men or women, or any other authority figures. A person is already complete, whole, worthy of love, beautiful, powerful, wise…a genius creator. From a spiritual perspective, we already have access to everything we need.

This is a time of personal power, learning who we truly are – celebrating our true magnificence. “No price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.” – Nietzsche

We can empower ourselves to live more fully expressed lives, to bring to fruition the highest vision of who we are. We no longer need to think small, we are giants. This knowledge changes everything.

Go with an open heart, go with a full heart, go soundly into the world with love.

“Wherever you go, go with all your heart ” – Confucius

6 Ways to Get Real:

1. Limit your working availability to work hours only. If you have a work phone and a personal phone, make sure to turn off your work phone when not at work.

2. Limit your time spent following media. Keep your bedroom a media-free zone. News from newspapers, internet news sites, radio and television should be kept to small dosages where necessary. Do not indulge in “bad news.”

3. Ensure you follow a daily practice of mindfulness, meditation or stillness.

4. Make sure to spend some time alone every day.

5. Engender quality relationships with friends, lovers, and family. Highlight quality over quantity. Intimacy, focused attention on other people and developing lifelong relationships requires dedication, yet the benefits are vast. Relationships can be our primary wellspring of joy and happiness.

6. Take at least one day off per week. This is a day of sabbath, a sacred day of contemplation. Use this day to clear the week past and plan the week to come. It’s your gift to yourself – so spend the day as you wish. It doesn’t matter so much what you do, as long as the day is yours.
